RenaLab Compliance Program
RenaLab is committed to maintaining an active and comprehensive compliance program to meet the requirements of Federal and state health care program requirements. The RenaLab Compliance Program is designed with requirements that are specific to clinical laboratories. RenaLab is actively involved in the monitoring of compliance initiatives and education through on-line compliance training, the Compliance Manual, a toll-free compliance hotline, and the RenaLab compliance officer and compliance committee.
In addition, RenaLab maintains the following:
- Additional annual compliance education for RenaLab billing associates;
- A Laboratory Compliance Officer, RenaLab Compliance Committee, and RenaLab Billing Compliance Subcommittee;
- RenaLab Compliance Policies and Procedures as part of Notice to Physicians and Guidelines kits sent to physicians and dialysis centers; and
- Monitoring of the RenaLab compliance program.
