Biomedical

At RenaLab, we offer a full range of testing services for the BioMedical area, and all are performed according to the standards of the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI). From colony counts to endotoxin testing to chemical analysis of water, we work hard to give you the best possible results as quickly as possible. The colony count is performed using the AAMI “Spread Plate” method and results are analyzed at 24 and 48 hours. Endotoxins are tested using a kinetic turbidometric method, the preferred method for testing water and dialysate. Chemical analysis of water samples is performed using both inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometers as well as ion chromatography, to give you the most accurate and precise readings available. Your dialysis center will be notified immediately anytime one of these readings is in an actionable range.
